BodyWise offers another level of assistance called Personal Training. Our certified personal trainers will work with you one-on-one to help you achieve your goals. These professionals will motivate, teach, and inspire you to reach your ultimate fitness goals. Below is a listing of all of our current Personal Trainers on staff and a brief biography on each. Kay Sconci - Owner and Personal Trainer
Born and raised - A true Austinite- that's me. In 1983 weighing 165 lbs, size 13/14 and inching my way up to an ugly size 16, I started a workout program. On a Monday evening in May, I walked into Big Steve's Gym in South Austin and never looked back. Now 34 years later, and 25 years owning and managing BodyWise Gym, I still love what I do more than ever. I am dedicated to both my gym and my members.
My skills and specialties in fitness encompass a wide range from marathon training, triathlons, road biking to body building. I have trained all ages, from 13 to 87 in all shapes, sizes and levels of fitness. You don't need to be an athlete to workout, you just need to workout. My challenge to myself is to get each client to achieve their personal goals and a few of my own goals for them.

Sherri Fox - Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor
Sherri’s specialties are weight loss, sports conditioning and performance, running, and cycling. She teaches Boot Camp, Power Athletic Cardio, Conditioning Challenge, Serious Strength, Abs, BOSU Ball, Stability Ball, Spin, Kickboxing, Glider Disc, and a variety of other classes. She has a passion for racing and has participated in many running events and Triathlons in Texas, the United States, and aboard. She represented the United States as a member of Team USA in the 2014 ITU World Championship Duathlon in Pontevedra, Spain. Sherri has two children ages 8 &9, and her motto is, “Be a mom, look like an athlete!”

Don Hardwick - Owner and Personal Trainer
Don Hardwick has been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the past 21 years. He graduated from The University of Texas in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After graduation, Don began working in the health and wellness industry and got his personal training certificate through American Council on Exercise. He continues to expand his knowledge of exercise with additional education and training.
Don trains people with all types of goals ranging from general fitness and weight loss to sport specific training. He enjoys utilizing a high-energy style of training. Don incorporates both weights and functional core exercises to improve his client's fitness. A training routine should be designed to create muscular balance as well as improve all areas of one’s fitness, including; strength, endurance, aerobic conditioning, flexibility, agility, balance and coordination. Don’s main goal is to help each client he works with reach their individual goals and to enhance their lives through exercise and a healthy life style.

Fitness, diet and how the two work in conjunction with one another has always fascinated me. I've helped people not only become athletic, but also have a better quality of life. It is always my goal for you to have less doctor visits and more energy to spend time with your family and friends. Above all, it is my goal to help you develop confidence. This is my passion. This is my calling. I am extremely happy to be sharing my excitement and knowledge with you. I don't believe in "cookie cutter" workouts or diet plans. Every individual is different. What works for one person may not work for another. What makes me different is that I practice what I preach because I truly believe in the process. My goals are achieved because of education, knowledge, and years of trial and error. I know what works and what doesn't. I hold myself to a high standard of morals and values both professionally and personally. As a professional working for you I will give you 100% and I expect the same in return.
